5 Boating Ideas for Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend is the last big boating weekend of the summer -- it’s not a normal weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. There will be special events, live music, and fireworks at several of the lake area businesses & water restaurants.  We have compiled a list of 5 ideas that you can enjoy while boating Labor Day Weekend.




Back to the 90’s Party
Start the weekend off with a bang at Dog Days Bar & Grill Friday night from 9 pm – 1 am for the Back to the 90’s Party.  The special event will be all about the 90's with a video set performed by Jay E, the mastermind behind Nelly’s Country Grammar.  The party will be poolside with giveaways and specials on Effen Vodka and Hornitos Tequila.  Dog Day’s Bar and Grill is located at the 19MM by water. 



Zero Duck Given Pool Party
Start your Saturday off right by boating over to the Backwater Jacks at the 17MM for the final Zero Ducks Given Pool Party of the 2019 season.   DJ’s will be on stage from 11am – 7pm for this one of kind pool party.  This party is 21 and over and sounds like the have some special surprises in store throughout the day.


ReHydrate at Lazy Gators
On Sunday, September 1st, Lazy Gators will be throwing the final ReHydrate Pool Party of the season.  The headliner for the party will be the one and only Shaun Frank along with DJ sets by 6 other amazing DJ’s throughout the day.  For VIP cabana information contact the Rehydrate Parties Facebook page.  Party starts at 11am and is strictly 21+.


Bloody Mary Bar
Jolly Rogers Grub n Grog will offer their famous Bloody Mary Bar Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until noon this weekend.   Build your favorite Bloody Mary with all kinds of items to choose from.  Jolly Rogers will also be offering their Break Buffet Saturday and Monday morning from 8:30 am – 11 am.  They are located at the 4.5MM of the Gravois Arm. 



Fireworks
Several of the area businesses will have fireworks throughout the weekend. 

• Bear Bottom Resort Labor Day Fireworks
        Date: Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1
