STAY HYDRATED AND BRING DRINKING WATER.

Having plenty of water is always a good idea when you are planning to spend the day boating. When Summer comes and the temperatures rise, you can get dehydrated very quickly. Having plenty of water is crucial on a hot summer day.

YOU CAN'T GO WRONG BY BRINGING AN EMEGENCY FLARE.

Having rescue flares on your boat is a must. If you find yourself stranded during the day or night, sending up an emergency flare will alert people that you are in trouble. Especially if it is dark out, it may be hard to get other boats attention if you are in trouble.

BE PREPARED WITH A FIRST AID KIT.

Injuries do happen when you are out on the water. Keep a first aid kit in case one of your passengers is injured. Usually, injuries are minor but in some cases, a first aid kit could save a life.

YOU MUST HAVE ENOUGH LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD FOR EVERYONE.

Make sure that you keep plenty of life jackets on hand. You are required to have a life jacket for everyone on board. You should always keep safety in mind before you take your boat out. Also, its the law so you shouldn't risk getting a ticket just because you forgot to put the correct amount of life jackets on board.

BRING PLENTY OF ROPE FOR VARIOUS BOATING SITUATIONS THAT MAY ARISE.

Rope can really come in handy when you are out on the water. A rope is great for tying up to docks or trees. Plus, if you or someone else gets stranded out on the water, you can tow the boat back to safety. We hope that your boat doesn't break down on a fun day out on the water, but it's always best to keep a few ropes on board just in case.
